Roscosmos and Chinese Chancellery: Cooperation in Satellite Navigation

On April 21-23, 2015, a delegation of the Chinese chancellery for satellite navigation took part in the 9th international navigation forum in Moscow.
In the official part of the Chinese experts’ visit, deputy head of Roscosmos Mikhail Khailov and deputy head of the Chinese chancellery Yan Jun met to discuss the cooperation in the usage of the GLONASS and Beidou satellite systems, their potential compatibility and complementarity, the possibility of co-monitoring and cooperative assessment of the systems’ parameters, and the cooperation in using navigational technologies.
Roscosmos and the Chinese chancellery also discussed the location of measurement stations in Russia and China.
