ROSCOSMOS. SOYUZ TMA-19M CREW RETURN
The crew of manned spacecraft SOYUZ TMA-19M returned safely to Earth. The crew module with ROSCOSMOS cosmonaut Yury MALENCHENKO, NASA astronaut Tim KOPRA and ESA astronaut Tim PEAK landed in the Kazakhstan steppes of June 18, 2016 at 12:15 MT. All operations on the descent from orbit and landing have passed normally.
Before the next crew the arrives on board of ISS, the crew of flight engineer Alexei OVCHININ (Russia), Oleg SKRIPOCHKA (Russia), and ISS commander Jeffrey Williams (USA) will continue the work on Earth orbit.
The duration time of the crew of ISS-46/47 flight is 186 days. During this time, cosmonauts and astronauts completed an extensive program of scientific researches and experiments to maintain the station functional capability and retrofitted equipment delivered by cargo ships. In addition, Yuri MALENCHENKO together with Sergei VOLKOV made a spacewalk and successfully completed all the tasks assigned to them.
Now, the total space flight duration of Yuri MALENCHENKO is 827 days, which means that it takes the second place in the list of world champions on the total stay in space after Gennady PADALKA (878 days).
