The State Commission confirmed Soyuz MS-13 crews
Roscosmos State Commission on flight testing of manned space complexes has confirmed the Soyuz MS-13manned spacecraft main and backup crew composition, as well as confirmed full readiness of SoyuzFG carrier rocket and the ground facilities for the launch in accordance with the International Space Station program.
The prime crew includes Soyuz Commander Alexander Skvortsov of Roscosmos, Flight Engineer-1 Luca Parmitano of ESA (European Space Agency), and Flight Engineer-2 Andrew Morgan of NASA. The backup crew consists of Sergei Ryzhikov, Thomas Marshburn and Soichi Noguchi.
Following the State Commission, the prelaunch press-conference of both prime and backup crews will take place, which will be broadcast in the Live Broadcast section of Roscosmos website.
The Soyuz FG carrier rocket with the manned Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft is scheduled to lift off at 16:28 UTC on July, 2019 from the launch pad No.1 (Gagarin’s Start) at Baikonur Cosmodrome, The docking to the Russian segment of the International Space Station is scheduled to take place at 22:50 UTC, on July 20.
