Soyuz MS-14 mated to adapter section

On August 13, 2019, the specialists of the rocket and space industry have finished the sequence of technological operations to mate the Soyuz MS-14 with the carrier rocket adapter section.

During the next few days, the spacecraft will undergo the designer’s inspection in the assembly and testing facility and will be encapsulated into the payload fairing. After that, the space head unit will be transported to the general assembly with the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket.

The launch of the Soyuz 2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft is scheduled for August 22, 2019 from the launching pad No. 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The flight to the International Space Station will be unmanned.
