Dmitry Rogozin met with the Japanese ambassador

Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin met with the Japanese ambassador Toyohisa Kozuki in Moscow.

During the meeting, the Russian and the Japanese sides discussed cooperation perspectives of the countries in space including crewed missions and joint operation of the International Space Station.

As a possible direction to develop cooperation, the Russian side offered the Japanese colleagues to cooperate in satellite manufacturing (Earth’s remote sensing, natural disaster warning system), as well as the spacecraft approach and docking systems.

Dmitry Rogozin invited the Japanese colleagues to visit the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

Roscosmos also offered to elaborate all the listed areas to introduce them into the APEC top-level meeting agenda in November.
