Soyuz-FG assembly completed
Technical Management representatives issued a certificate of readiness of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-15 crewed spacecraft to be rolled out and installed on the launch pad No. 1 (“Gagarin’s start”) at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on September 23, 2019.
On September 21, 2019, the rocket and space industry companies’ specialists performed the technological operations for the Soyuz-FG space rocket general assembly, after the Soyuz MS-15 check inspection as part of the head unit it was transported to the general assembly.
The launch to the International Space Station is scheduled for September 25, 2019 at 13:57 UTC. The prime crew includes Oleg Skripochka (Russia), Jessica Meir (USA) and Hazza Al Mansouri (UAE), the backup crew consists of Sergey Ryzhikov (Russia), Thomas Marshburn (USA) and Sultan Al Neyadi (UAE).
