Soyuz MS-15 crews confirmed

The State Commission on flight testing of crewed space complexes has confirmed the Soyuz MS-15 crewed spacecraft prime and backup crew composition, as well as confirmed full readiness of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket and the ground facilities for the launch in accordance with the International Space Station program.

 

The prime crew includes Soyuz Commander Oleg Skripochka of Roscosmos, Flight Engineer-1 Jessica Meir of NASA, and Flight Engineer-2 Hazza Al Mansouri (UAE). The backup crew consists of Sergey Ryzhikov (Russia), Thomas Marshburn (USA) and Sultan Al Neyadi (UAE).

 

Following the State Commission, the prelaunch press conference of both prime and backup ISS-61/62/EP-19 crews will take place, which will be available in the Live Broadcast section of Roscosmos website.

 

The Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with the crewed Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft is scheduled to lift off at 13:57 UTC on September 25, 2019. The docking to the Russian segment of the International Space Station is preliminary scheduled to take place at 19:45 UTC, on September 25. All the operations will be broadcast via official Roscosmos VK community.
