ISS-63 crews approved for the flight
The chief medical commission meeting took place at Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC). The commission analyzed medical check-up data of the prime and backup crews of ISS-63 mission.
The commission included representatives of Roscosmos, GCTC, Federal Medical and Biological Agency, Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The commission qualified Roscosmos cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner (ISS-63 prime crew), as well as Sergey Ryzhikov and Andrey Babkin (backup crew) for the spaceflight on health grounds.
The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with Soyuz MS-16 and ISS-63 long-term mission crewmembers is scheduled to launch on April, 9 2020 from the launchpad No. 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
