Final assembly of launch vehicle with Progress MS-15 cargo spacecraft

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the prelaunch processing of the Progress MS-15 cargo spacecraft under the program of the 76th resupply mission to the International Space Station is being completed.

On Saturday, July 18, the specialists from RSC Energia and core enterprises of Roscosmos performed the final assembly of the Soyuz-2.1а carrier rocket with the Progress MS-15 freighter in the integration and test facility of Site 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The technical management and the State Commission meeting decided the rocket is ready for rollout and installation on the launchpad.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-15 freighter is scheduled for July 23, 2020.
