Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin congratulated UAE on the successful Hope probe launch

I cordially congratulate H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Technologies of the UAE, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Ahbabi, Director General of the UAE Space Agency, the teams of the UAE Space Agency and the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, as well as the entire Arab world with the successful launch of the first ever Arab interplanetary automatic mission!

 

Since its announcement, the Emirates Mars Mission has consistently attracted close attention of the global space community. This ambitious project captivates and does not leave indifferent space professionals from all over the world. My foreign colleagues and I also held breath watching this landmark project taking shape.

 

I am sure that the successful implementation of the “Hope” mission will further spur the already extremely high interest in the field of space exploration, which we currently see in the Arab world.
