Proton-M with Ekspress satellites ready for launch

A State Commission meeting took place at Baikonur as part of the launch preparations to inject two Russian Ekspress satellites into orbit. The satellites were manufactured by ISS Reshetnev company.

 

The meeting reviewed the Proton-M carrier rocket final test results at the Site No. 200 launchpad. After hearing the reports from Roscosmos specialists on the rocket and ground infrastructure readiness, the State Commission cleared the rocket for fueling and confirmed the launch time. According to the preflight preparation schedule, the launching teams at the cosmodrome will start fueling the rocket at 15:30 UTC with oxydizing component and at 17:10 UTC with propellant.

 

The Proton-M carrier rocket with Briz-M booster is scheduled to lift off prom pad No. 39 at Site No. 200 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 30, at 21:25:19 UTC. Live broadcast will be available at Roscosmos official website starting at 21:00 UTC.
