ISS-64 commence complex examination training
ISS-64 long-term International Space Station expedition prime and backup crews are at the crucial moment during their preflight preparations commencing complex examination trainings. On September 22, 2020, the ISS-64 backup crew of Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky, Pyotr Dubrov, and NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hei took the tests on the Soyuz MS crewed spacecraft simulator.
The crew commander Oleg Novitsky reported the crew is ready for the test, after that they took the exam paper with possible emergencies during the simulated flight. However, the crew doesn’t know the types of tests and will have to find it out during the training.
Following that, the ISS-64 prime crew of Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, as well as NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins started their training on the Russian ISS segment simulator. The crews are fine; GCTC keeps all the necessary epidemiological measures.
After the training are complete, the commission will sum up the first examination day results.
